My favorite onscreen couple.
BEFORE SUNRISE/SUNSET are two of my favorite films. It's such a boring, simple concept, but the writing is superb. I was hooked as soon as Jesse started to talk to Céline on the train. We're on the third film now and I'm even more intrigued to find out what's happening with the long anticipated lovers.
Last we saw them, Jesse was missing his plane while watching Céline dance to Nina Simone. Nine-years later, the two live in Paris with twin girls, probably chatting about life and relationships and work and children and the weather and music. Riveting stuff, eh? I could watch these films forever.
Here's the one-sheet. It's a perfect depiction for a perfect set of stories. Effortless and elegant.
