It’s still not soon enough.
I’m sure Iwan Rheon is a nice enough guy, but goddamn, do I want his Ramsay Bolton to die, and die horribly. I guess it’s a credit to the character that I’ve surrendered all of my hate once occupied by Joffrey to the former bastard. See, there’s a bright side to everything.
HBO released the titles of the last few remaining episodes of season six, and they’re going to be doozies.
• S6E9 – “The Battle of the Bastards” (June 19. And Father’s Day no less!)
• S6E10 – “The Winds of Winter” (June 26)
See anything you like? In just under two-weeks, the two Snows will finally cross swords after seasons of watching Ramsay assault women, murder his father and stepmom and half-brother, dismember Theon, turning him into a veritable human dog, and just generally being a horrible person.
And, another bonus? This season’s finale, “The Winds of Winter” (a nice nod to the as-of-yet uncompleted novel by creator George R. R. Martin) is coming in at a cool 69-minutes, the longest episode in GAME OF THRONES history. So we can all enjoy dragons, and some nice, clean retribution, before easing off into another arduous off-season.
