Jesse and Céline are back for a third time.
Greatest news of the day award is provided by Ethan Hawke while being interviewed by France's Allocine. In a very clever way, Allocine has Hawke reminisce over past roles while listening to related songs.
After hearing a snippet of Julie Delpy's song Je T'Aime Tant, the star of BEFORE SUNRISE (1995), and BEFORE SUNSET (2004) (also co-writer of the latter) divulged that he, Delpy and director Richard Linklater have begun the process for another installment of the much beloved romantic series (BEFORE ANOTHER SUNSET?)
Hawke hints that the goal is to have the third film out by next summer to stay true to the nine-year difference between the first two. As we're getting closer and closer to the new year, it would appear unlikely that Hawke's release date would stay true. On the other hand, if you're familiar with the previous two films, you know how small the scale is, so who knows?
Any chance to see Jesse and Céline once more is a welcomed treat, as SUNRISE and SUNSET both provide an devastatingly intimate portrait, along with some of the most realistic dialogue in recent years.
