For better or worse, Snyder sticks to his guns...and slo-mo.
Here's the latest moving pictures for the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE film. And it's everything you'd expect from a Zack Snyder production.
Other than Ray Fisher's Cyborg, I actually like the costume design. Batman's was already one of the few redeeming parts of BATMAN V SUPERMAN, and his hasn't changed much thematically, other than perhaps an upgrade in armor. I could use a little more streamlined approach for Flash, but Wonder Woman and Aquaman's are very well done.
But, yeah, Cyborg. Yikes. It seems pretty clear the CGI hasn't been finalized (they have until this November), but it needs a lot of improvement until release day.
The film is still dark as hell, literally and figuratively, but Snyder and writer, Chris Terrio have at least infused a little more humor into it, which will do nothing but help it in the long run. Overall? It's okay. DC has so much ground to make up with after the terrible showings of BVS and SUICIDE SQUAD, that my hope is JUSTICE LEAGUE at least takes heroic baby steps in that direction.
