Are we sure this is Scorsese?
When one ponders Martin Scorsese, violence, heartbreak and death come to mind. A sweeping tale of an orphaned boy who must unlock the magical secrets of a mechanical figure, which leads to adventure and whimsical mayhem, does not. An original change of pace is never a bad thing though--especially not in the world of remakes and sequels that we currently inhabit.
The trailer looks...okay. Lots of good people involved, with Marty behind the camera, and Hit-Girl, Borat, Gandhi, Dickie Greenleaf, among others, in front. I'm going to have to see a little more though before my interest picks up at all. And what's the deal with everyone in Paris speaking with a British accent?
