Let's talk about sexy, baby.
Never one to shy away from controversy, Lars von Trier--the guy who helmed films about Björk, depression, and child loss and genital mutilation--has a new film coming out, but it sounds like you're going to have to be able to handle Shia LeBoeuf in weird positions if you want to watch.
Once more starring Charlotte Gainsbourg (ANTICHRIST, MELANCHOLIA), NYMPHOMANIAC explores the erotic life of Gainsbourg's Joe, who is found beaten in an alley by Stellan Skarsgård. It features an eclectic cast: LeBoeuf, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen, Willem Dafoe, Jesper Christensen, and Uma Thurman, amongst others.
Two cuts of the film will be released, with one being significantly explicit. Rumor has it you see LeBoeuf's LeBeef. NYMPHOMANIAC has a May 30 Danish theatrical date, with a stateside debut shortly thereafter. The new one-sheet is below.
