Let's hope for International Women's Day that they treat the female population better.
We have about six-weeks until the sixth week of HBO's GAME OF THRONES returns on-air, and from the newest look there's not going to be a shortage of the pillars that got us to this point.
At the end of season five, Daenerys bunched up with another horde of Dothraki, this time sans dragons; the High Sparrow had the Iron Throne around his grubby fingers; and Jon Snow was aggressively stabbed to death by his comrades.
Lots to walk through here, but from it appears that Melisandre is planning something sinister with the corpse of Snow. Many speculated that Snow was going to make a return, and with the subtitle of the written series being, "A Song of Ice and Fire," it's likely that the endgame will feature our favourite bastard and the Queen of Dragons in some capacity.
It's not GAME OF THRONES without the "Wow!" moments, and the trailer didn't disappoint.
Sansa shedding her weak skin and throwing on some pelts, looking pretty damn tough:
Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane back from the dead:
Bran Stark--who apparently spent his season away getting a haircut--face-to-face with the King of the White Walkers:
For the first time the series will include brand new material as the adaptation has caught up to where author George R. R. Martin has penned on page, so it's a brand new world for everyone now.
